Hashrate

Hashrate refers to the computing power of a blockchain network, or the speed at which a computer can perform a specific cryptographic function called hashing. The hashrate is measured in hashes per second (H/s), and a higher hashrate means that the network can process more transactions and secure the network against attacks more effectively. In simple terms, hashrate can be thought of as the amount of computational work that the network can perform, similar to the horsepower of a car engine.
